Artierra is about community. Artierra is a site that brings together art lovers and artists who make and sell unique jewelry. Buyers can browse through collections, contact jewelry artists, and purchase items directly from the artist, with no commissions or fees of any kind. Artierra is a site where artists can communicate with each other about relevant issues, discuss events and materials, and also find a shared audience for their artwork. Artierra is a tool that artists can use to increase their visibility on the web. For artists that don't have the time, skill or resources to create their own website, this is a great way to quickly get an audience, if you have your own website, it's a great way to get more exposure and drive customers to your own webpage. Artists are responsible for sharing leads, creating feedback for local events, and maintaining good will toward other members. Artierra is not a sales website. For artists who do not have their own website, Artierra is able to share tools which can assist with building a personal sales website. We do not take a percentage of sales, nor do we charge for fees for posting on our site. We do, however charge a fee for membership (See details about Membership), which permits the artist to post a portfolio and profile on Artierra. Our profiles offer a personal introduction to the artist. Biographies, personal statements and examples of the artist's work are included, as well as contact information for the artist. |
